On the eve of 6th August, 2024, Suga encountered an unfortunate incident involving drinking and operating an electric scooter, a short 500m from his residence. While it does breach road traffic laws, it’s essential to understand that the reality of the situation is not as grave as it has been blown out of proportion.

Suga, upon being found intoxicated, did stumble and fall off his scooter. The swift actions of the local police led to his breathalyzer test turning out high, resulting in his license revocation and a fine.

Let’s clear the air though – there were no cars, no injuries or damaged property involved. The rumors swirling around are simply attempts to tarnish the image of our beloved BTS, whose members, like all human beings, can make mistakes too. We’re not justifying but understanding, recognizing that idols, much like us, are humans too.

Hello this is suga,

I have came here with a heavy heart and sorry to you guys due to a dissapointing event.

Last night after drinking at dinner, i went home riding a electric scootor. I violated the road traffic laws due to me thinking easily that it is a close distance and not recognizing that it is not allowed to ride a electric scootor after drinking. While parking the electric scootor in front of my place, i feel by myself and there was a police officer nearby and as a result of drinking my liscence has been revoked and ive been fined. There wasnt anyone who got hurt or any facilities got damaged but, this is an inexcusable responsibility of mine so i bow my head and apologize to everyone. I apologize to those who have got hurt due to my carelessness and wrong action, From now on and forward, i will be more and more carefull with my actions so nothing like this will happen again.

Come on guys its not that serious. But Now, was this wrong? Yes, absolutely. And Suga himself acknowledges his mistake. He apologized sincerely in a heartfelt post on Weverse, admitting to his ignorance about the scooter-driving law and assures us that nothing like this will happen again. As per the Military Manpower Administration, no punishment such as an extension of Suga’s social service period will be imposed as this incident took place outside of work hours. Guys its a begging request, stop reacting to the anti army’s please they are using this to put our boys down as a army girl i can understand that we will support our boys no matter what and we will react right away whenever something big happens to them. But always remember the if we keep on reacting and defending to the posts which was actually not real it will get viral and think things were going as they wanted and planed. So please stop defending. Especially for those posts which contains he will be kicked out of bts and he will be put in jail. And also to the ones who are posting pictures with bottle of alcohol insisting that they support suga. These are just rumors and we know nothing like this will ever happen.
